Pledges are built around a fixed donation amount and a specified time period.  The College offers flexibility for payment frequency which includes monthly, bi-annual and annual payments.  Please contact Thomas Nosella at tnosella@delasalle.ca to make a future commitment to De La Salle College.

Gifts of appreciated securities, such as Canadian Equities and Bonds, Canadian Securities -Physical Certificates. and Canadian Mutual Funds, are fully exempt from capital gains tax when donated to a charitable organization. Donors of appreciated securities to De La Salle College will receive a tax receipt for the fair market value of their gift on the day it is received.

Matching Corporate Gifts/Sponsorships

Take advantage of corporate matching programs.  As a charitable organization, De La Salle is eligible to receive donations through corporate programs that are registered with third party organizations like Benevity and Canadahelps.org.

To find out if your company’s matching program qualifies, please contact Thomas Nosella at tnosella@delasalle.ca.

A donor may make a gift of tangible property to De La Salle College. Gifts-in-kind may include books, equipment, furnishings, etc. These gifts must be pre-arranged with the Advancement Office. Charitable receipts for fair market value may be issued with an appraisal.

A donor may wish to have their donation split between different funds in order to support more than one area of activity within the school. (Please see the online donation form for designation.)

Including De La Salle College as a beneficiary of your Last Will and Testament is a simple way to provide important support for the future of the school. You may choose to make a charitable bequest of a specific dollar amount or you can provide a percentage of your estate to the school.

If you wish to name De La Salle College in your Will, please contact the Development Office.

A gift of life insurance involves naming De La Salle College as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy.  It is a strategy employed while managing taxation in the estate planning process.
